This is a Xythos miniature 2mm pinfire pistol from Austria - it is an older, first style of the Xythos, produced pre-1960's nickel-plated, has a gold trigger, with 9-ridge hammer, black grips and the parts to be worn as a cuff link (single). It is in the original case and includes a full pack of the original red box of blanks, has the tie clasp, AND the button/cufflink attachment. This is an older-styled antique, produced prior to the 1960's. This particular model is in "A" or GREAT condition (graded based on the overall working condition and aesthetics for the same style and age). This gun has a nice finish, with hardly  no wear on the gun's body, and just a tiny bit of tarnish on the underside of the hammer, not visable during normal use. Overall length (OAL) is 1 5/8". This Xythos is designed to fire 2mm pinfire BLANKS only (do not attempt to fire lead ball/live rounds).

Xythos revolvers are listed in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso, Vol. 3, pages 40-42 where you can find lots of good information on the history and types made. We've also included some Xythos history on the main category page.
