OAL 1 3/4" This is a Little Atom Squared Butt with checkered design on the grips, however, there seems to be no JAPAN stamp on the side. The similar Austrian version does not have the checkering and has a floral background. This is a later version with the barrel vented on the bottom, meaning that it can only fire 2mm Pinfire Blanks. This one has a hammer that is easy to lock back and the trigger that is crisp. The gun looks almost new for a 70 year old antique, and has the loop in the hammer, to allow you to hang it from a necklace, bracelet, or keychain. These guns have also been popping up in all types of beautiful art these days. This gun is in great working condition and is in A condition.
This is listed as J3a in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso.
This is a vented barrel, which means the barrel does not go all the way through/is sealed at the end, which meanonly blank rounds can fire safely. It is dangerous to attempt to fire any kind of live round in a vented barrel gun, such as this. However you can fire blank rounds perfectly.
