This is the Berloque, Weston Belmex miniature RARE 3mm pinfire pistols from Mexico City, Mexico - it is blue steel-plated and has a round butt with Mother of Pearl grips and a very rare swivel attached to the butt of the grip. Do NOT let the condition of the box fool you, this gun will be a gem for any collection, as I have heard about, but never seen a Tom Weston Gun, like this with the swivel ring attached. This was only done, by Tom Weston, for important people, dignitaries, and others important to him. This is an antique, produced between the 1940's and 1950's. This particular model is in "A" or great condition (graded based on the overall working condition and aesthetics for the same style and age) and in excellent condition for its age with minor scratches. This gun has a nice finish, with just some minor tarnish on the gun's body. There are believed to be only 200 of these guns ever made. The design is his "twist to the side" to load gun which was popular during the mid to late nineteenth century. Comes with everything you see here! The original box is damaged but still great for any collector out there! Overall length is 2 1/4 inches. (Four 2mm Rimfire Blanks are for show, but are included)
Listed in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso Vol. 3 on page 72 as M1 Weston, Belmex.
