RARE BROWN GRIP XYTHOS - Nickel Round case
This is an ultra-rare collector's piece: a 1959 Brown Grip Silver-plated Xythos 6 shot automatic revolver with a key chain, and origigjnal case - which includes "cuff link" accessories as it was designed to possibly wear.
There were only 90 "prototype" sets (per Bob Urso's book "The Tiniest Guns". These were made eithet in tie clasp/cuff link styles, and the most special element is the original brown plastic grip, never made on future models (black grips were made on all production sets, and those gun designs changed some throughout the years as well until all production of Xythos stopped in the early 2,000's. This is as "original" and "collectible" as it gets (*note: we are very lucky to have a few other brown grip models we will be listing online very soon as well).
This cuff link model has VERY minor wear (handling), with VERY limited (if any) firing, and has been stored in a safe all these years.
Xythos is the world's smallest working revolver, and this is one of the the world's rarest miniature Xythos. These were designed to be given to their top distributors, even dignitaries and royalty.
This does come with TEN 2mm Pinfire Blanks and a skull-topped push rod, which acts as a spent round ejector. Although This piece will likely be one for a collection that is displayed and not fired, it is fully working.
